Leslie Marjai III – passed away with his loving family by his side, at Silver Cross Hospital, Wednesday, December 1, 2021. Age 77 years. Survived by his wife of 27 years Victoria (nee McClain) Marjai, his daughter Teresa (Dave) Wisnieski, his sons John (Christine) Czajkoski and David Rura. His grandchildren Jacob and Julia Marjai Wisnieski, Mathew and Liam Czajkoski; sister Lydia (Steve) Butler and special nephew Shaun Judge. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive. Preceded in death by his parents Leslie and Margaret (Ramos) Marjai Jr. and nephew Marc Krein. Leslie was a U.S Marine veteran. He was the recipient of the Vietnam Service Medal with three stars, Good Conduct Medal, 1st Award, National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal, w/Device, .45 Caliber Pistol Expert Medal and M-14 Rifle Expert Medal. He retired from Culligan after many years of service. Leslie was a devoted husband, loving father and grandfather. An avid bird watcher, especially enjoying a good competition with his daughter on the arrival of the first Hummingbird of the season. He enjoyed listening and watching his granddaughter sing and perform and watching his grandsons bowl. A Service will be held at Crystal Lawns Church of the Nazarene 2424 Caton Farm Road, Crest Hill, Monday, December 6th, at 12:00 Noon. Interment Woodlawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be held at church from 10:00 A.M. until time of Service. In lieu of flowers memorials to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital will be appreciated.
