Linda K. Hodge (nee Soderberg) – Of Joliet, formerly of New Lenox, passed away peacefully with her three daughters, and loving family by her side Wednesday, September 14, 2022. Age 79.
Survived by her three daughters Karen (Dennis) Knutson of Blanco, TX, Karla (Michael) Baggett of New Lenox, and Kristen (John) Feigl of Shorewood. Dearest grandmother to Matthew Baggett (Ciera Hester-Smith), Nathan (Mackenzie) Knutson, Kyle Baggett, Noah Charles Knutson, Kayla Audrey Feigl, Neal Knutson, Grace Ann Feigl and Jack Raymond Feigl. Her sisters Sandra (Tony) Stolzenberger and Georgia (Charles) Abbott. Several cousins, nieces and nephews also survive.

Born on April 2, 1943 to the late John and Clara (nee Vogen) Soderberg. Preceded in death by her loving husband of 49 years Raymond (2013) who were married on June 13, 1964. Also preceded in death by her sister Janet Mae Swank.
Linda was a member of Messiah Lutheran Church, she loved her church family and enjoyed making Memory Bears and Quilts. She attended Trinity United Methodist Church in Joliet for many years. She was very active while she lived at the Willow Falls community.
Linda's greatest love was being a mother and a grandmother. She cherished her son-in-laws, and spending time with her family was her greatest joy.
We'd like to thank Sunny Hill nursing home staff and rehabilitation therapists for the passionate care our mom and family were given in the last few months of her life.
Lying in State at Messiah Lutheran Church Wednesday, September 21, 2022 from 10:00 AM until time of services at 11:00 A.M. Visitation at Carlson Holmquist Sayles Funeral Home, Tuesday 3:00 – 7:00 PM. Interment Woodlawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers memorials to Messiah Lutheran will be appreciated.
