Lorraine J. Boseo
(nee Fietterer)
Age 92 years, late of Joliet, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 19, 2021 at Sunny Hill Nursing Home of Will County with her family by her side.
Lorraine was a dedicated, loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was an all-around amazing person who cared for everyone she knew. She was employed at the McDonald's on Jefferson St. and Woodlawn Ave. for over 30 years.
She is survived by her children, Bonnie (Richard) Simpson, Robert (Erin) Boseo and Brian Boseo; her son-in-law, David (late, Barbara) Vidano; her grandchildren, Richard (Sue) Simpson, Mark Simpson, Chris (Megan) Vidano, Gina (Steve) Bianchetta, Stephanie (Sean) Martyn, Kristen (Nick) Dalzell, Anthony Boseo, Brianna and Mia Boseo; nine great-grandchildren and also numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Preceded in death by her husband, Fred L. "Woody" Boseo Jr.; a son, William J. Boseo; her daughter, Barbara A. Vidano; her parents, Carl and Angela (nee Gualdoni) Fietterer and a sister, Gloria (late, Emil) Sefcik.
The family would like to thank the staff at Sunny Hill Nursing Home 6th Avenue and Angels Grace Hospice for the great care Lorraine received.
A memorial visitation will be held at the Church of St. Anthony, 100 Scott Street, Joliet on Saturday, January 30, 2021 from 9:30 am until the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am.
Private inurnment to follow at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery.
In accordance with the current Covid-19 guidelines, all attending the visitation and mass will be required to properly wear a facial mask and observe social distancing.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Friends of Sunny Hill Nursing Home or Alzheimer's Association would be appreciated.
