(nee Eberhard) - Passed away peacefully with her family by her side, Saturday, September 18, 2010 at Provena Villa Franciscan Nursing Home. Age 98.\r\n\r\nSurvived by a sister Evelyn (late Don) Gates and a brother George (Maryellen) Eberhard both of Joliet. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive.\r\n\r\nPreceded in death by her husband William Dillon (1972), her parents Wilbur and Bessie (nee Bennett) Eberhard, five sisters Ann Whitney, Helen Baldwin, Bessie Sorenson, Lucille Eberhard and Beatrice Schultz, two brothers Robert and Allen Eberhard.\r\n\r\nBorn February 6, 1912 in Joliet and a life long resident. Retired from the Ben Franklin Variety Store. Member of St. Peter Lutheran Church, the Evening Guild, and the Epistle Committee, and Joliet Homemakers. She enjoyed sewing, knitting and crocheting. She loved to travel.\r\n\r\n\r\n
