Survived by his wife Elizabeth S. Tavares (nee Kongpricha), Five daughters Nikki Tavares, Elaina (Darnell) Terrell, Kelly Drumond, Angela (Vernon) Sepeda and Deliah Tavares. A son Manuel Tavares. His parents Joseph Tavares and Delores Boyer. His step-father Harold Boyer. Ten grandchildren Quira, Andrew, Nicholas, Darnell Jr., Elizabeth, Aiden, Adrian, Micaella, Jessica and Xzavier. Three brothers Joseph, Stephen and Harold . Four sisters Carla, Deborah, Toni and Linda. Also numerous nieces, nephews and many good friends. \r\nPreceded in death by his brother Derek Tavares.\r\nBorn and raised in Philadelphia, PA. Manuel was a \r\nLicensed Practical Nurse at Burgess Square Nursing Home in Westmont, IL. for the past 16 years.
