Mark C. Stusek age 56, passed away on Tuesday, March 30, 2021 at Joliet Area Community Hospice Home in Joliet, Illinois after a long and courageous battle with illness. He was surrounded by family. Mark was born on September 3, 1964, in Naperville to John and Myra (Brodersen) Stusek. He married Karen (Van Den Langenberg) on September 15, 2007. He spent much of his career as a commercial roofer. Mark loved life, his family, and his friends. He especially loved traveling with his wife and dogs. Mark's sense of humor, determination, and willingness to help others will be missed by all who knew and loved him. He is survived by his wife Karen, parents John and Myra, sisters Lynne (William) Fritz and Susan (Richard) Lamz and brothers Nicholas (Kecia Littlejohn) Weesies, and Thomas (Gary) Stusek, daughter Nicole (Grant) Miller, grandsons Logan, A.J. and Nixon Charles, and many nieces and nephews and family and friends who loved him dearly. Services are private. A public celebration of life will be scheduled for a future date. Donations can be made to the Joliet Area Community Hospice (JACH) in Mark's honor.
