Passed away suddenly at her residence, Tuesday, June 28, 2016. Age 75 years. Survived by her loving husband of 15 years Thomas S. Golat. Two sons Shawn (Deborah) Bredesen and Darren Bredesen. Five grandchildren Kirsten, Sarah, Ryan, Corrina and Allysha Bredesen. Also her beloved dog Suzie. Preceded in death by her parents George and Adeline Frank. Marlene was born March 4, 1941 in Chicago, IL. She graduated from Tuley High School in Chicago. Marlene retired from the E.J. & E. Railroad as a Yard Clerk after 31 years of service. She loved to tend to her flowers, her pets and visiting Harrah's Casino. Marlene had a compassion for neighborhood cats and provided food and water to them daily. Private family cremation services were held at the Carlson-Holmquist-Sayles Funeral Home & Crematory.
