Mary Ann Hurstik (nee Partak) – Age 87, passed away March 22, 2022, at Lightways Hospice, with great love in her heart for her surviving children, Bill Hurstik, Kathy (James) Hedtcke, Bob (Renee) Hurstik, Sue Phillips and Mary Jo Chetney; cherished grandchildren Aimee Gipes, Jenny Hughes, Billy Colbert, Casey Hedtcke, Kelly Pruim, Josh Hurstik, Kyle Hurstik, Jordi Struble, Mark Phillips, Matt Phillips, Kaitlyn Chetney, Shane Chetney and 12 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her loving husband of 34 years Bill (1988) and her daughter Carol Colbert (1985), her grandma and grandpa Partak who loved and raised her since her mother Margaret Meurer's death in June of 1937, her father Gus Partak and brother Ed Partak. Mary Ann's family would like to thank Lightways Hospice Staff for their exceptional care and kindness given to their mother. Funeral services will be held from the Carlson-Holmquist-Sayles Funeral Home & Crematory, 2320 Black Road, Monday, March 28th at 10:00 A.M. Interment Elmhurst Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials to Lightways Hospice will be appreciated. Visitation will be held Sunday from 1:00 – 5:00 P.M.
