Mary Rose Rinaldo Age 92, passed away Tuesday, March 6, 2018. She was a life-long resident of Joliet. Graduate of JTHS Class of 1943 and retired from Caterpillar after 32 years. Mary was an avid reader and in her younger years she loved to travel. Mary's Catholic faith was a significant part of her life, serving as a Eucharistic Minister at the Church of St. Anthony and she had a deep devotion to the rosary. Preceded in death by her parents, James and Rosa Rinaldo and a sister, Margaret (Bill) Moore. Survived by her sister, Flora Barr; her brother, Jim (Dorla Dean) Rinaldo; her beloved 13 nieces and nephews, Steve, Vance and Pat (Christine) Barr; Scott, Rick (Patty) and Tim (Jane) Moore; Joan (Joe) Clark; MaryPat (Kurt) Kettler and Katie Moore; Susan (Tim) Rapinchuk, MaryBeth (Scot) Eberle, Chris (Cindy) Rinaldo and Jeff (Tricia) Rinaldo; 16 grand-nieces and grand-nephews also survive. Mary also is survived by cousins in Italy and Argentina. Visitation will be held at the Church of St. Anthony 100 North Scott Street, Joliet on Saturday, March 10, 2018 from 10:00 am until the time of Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am. Private interment at Resurrection Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials in memory of Mary Rose to the charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated.
