Mary Ann (nee Beyer) Shocknesse – of Joliet, IL, entered into rest Tuesday, June 7, 2016 at the age of 64. She is survived by her loving husband Ronald and her daughter Leslie B. (William) Kendall. She was the dear sister of Timothy V. (Debbie) Beyer, Arthur J. (Gwyn) Beyer and Daniel G. Beyer; loving daughter of the late Mary Agnes Beyer and Arthur Beyer. She is also survived by close family friends and cherished family pets. Mary Ann was born in Buffalo, NY. She lived most of her adult life in Chicago, IL, before moving to the suburbs of Chicago later in life, first to Chicago Ridge and later to Joliet. Mary Ann had a long career at Sargent and Lundy as an Administrative Supervisor. Visitation will be held at the Carlson-Holmquist-Sayles Funeral Home, 2320 Black Rd., Tuesday, June 14, 2016 from 10AM to 2PM. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family would be appreciated.
