One sister Barbara Baxter of Adamsville, TN. Nieces Nancy Baxter, Rhonda Tears. Sister-in-law Marilyn Holmes. Cousins Holly Holmes and Sharon Kuhner of Houston, TX. Debbie Holmes-Hickman of Valparaiso, IN. Allen Holmes, Jr. of Homewood, IL. Preceded in death by husband Allan B. Kirby (2006), Mable Volke and Raymond Holmes. Her brothers Allen Holmes and Philip Holmes. Her sister Jean Doyle. Nancy was born January 2, 1930 in Chicago, IL. She was an active member of United Methodist Church of Minooka. Lying in state at the United Methodist Church of Minooka, 205 W Church St, Minooka, Saturday, April 2 from 9:30 A.M. until services at 10:00 A.M. Rev. Eddie Eddey officiating. Interment Hills of Rest Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials to the American Cancer Society will be appreciated. Visitation will be held at the Carlson Holmquist Sayles Funeral Home 2320 Black Road, Friday, April 1, from 4:00 P.M. – 8:00 P.M.
