Nancy R. Peck - Passed away peacefully Sunday, September 22, 2013 at her home. Age 70. Survived by her daughters Julie (Casey) Bishop, Amy Peck and a son Brian (Maria) Peck, grandchildren Kayla, Shelby, Cassandra, Brandon Nathan and A.J; brothers Tony Hiller (Peg Duffy), Tom (Barbara) Hiller and Jon (Diane) Hiller, and one sister Cynthia Giometti. Preceded in death by her parents Walter and Ruth Hiller. Nancy took great pride in the fact that she spent over 30 years in the teaching profession. She helped many students become productive adults and they speak of her to this day. Her greatest passion was her grand children. Nancy was a loving Gramma who always put the needs of others ahead of her own-and she did it with a smile. Her family, her faith and her friends kept her going during her courgeous battle. She was an inspiration to her sister and three brothers. Funeral services will be held from the Carlson-Holmquist-Sayles Funeral Home, 2320 Black Rd., Saturday, September 28th at 9:30 A.M. to St. Jude Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:00 AM. In lieu of flowers donations to National Ovarian Cancer Coalition of Illinois or St. Jude's Childrens Hospital would be appreciated. Visitation will be held Friday from 5:00-8:00 P.M.
