Olivia H. Wolgemuth "LuLu" (nee Governale) Age 92 years, passed away on Monday, January 25, 2021 at her home with her loving family by her side. Born in Joliet on May 21, 1928 and residing all of her life. Survived by her son, Edward A. (Diana Page) Wolgemuth; her son-in-law, Robert (late, Susan) Pasdertz; her grandchildren, Bob (late,Dawn) Pastertz III, Caryn Pasdertz, Alena and Andrew Wolgemuth; her great-grandchildren, Bob IV, Cristian, Danielle and Lillie; her great-great grandchildren, Zachary and Tevin; one niece, Mary (Chris) Docherty; numerous cousins also survive. Preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Edward "Ed" Wolgemuth (2010); her daughter, Susan Pasdertz; her parents, Anton and Lucy (nee Raymond) Governale. Lulu was a member of the Church of St. Anthony and the American-Italian Cultural Club. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great grandmother and she will be dearly missed. The family would like to convey a special thank you to Rhonda for her loving care to Olivia for the past several years. Visitation for Olivia "LuLu" Wolgemuth will be held at the Carlson-Holmquist-Sayles Funeral Home, 2320 Black Road, Joliet on Thursday, January 28, 2021 from 3 – 7 PM. Funeral Services will be held from the funeral home on Friday, January 29, 2021 beginning with prayers at 9:15 AM and then to the Church of St. Anthony for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM with the Very Rev. Richard Smith, celebrant. Interment Woodlawn Memorial Park. In accordance with the Covid-19 guidelines, all attending the visitation and funeral mass will be required to properly wear a facial mask and observe social distancing. In lieu of flowers, memorials in her memory to Morning Star Missions would be appreciated.
