Oma Summers – (nee Southwood) passed away peacefully, at Brookdale Orland Park, Wednesday, March 12, 2025. Age 86.

She is survived by her sons Ricky (Kathy) Summers, Ronnie Summers, her daughters Diana (Rodney) Habbe, Connie Campbell Summers; 12 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. Her brothers Luther, Arthur, Nathan, Lawsie, Emery and sisters Lona and Elsie.

Preceded in death by her husband Dan Summers and son Terry L. Summers.

Oma loved to cook especially for her family. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and was very proud of them. She and her husband retired to Kentucky enjoying her yard and the relaxing life they had there.

Per Oma's request cremation rites were accorded. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Carlson Holmquist Sayles Funeral Home & Crematory.
