Pamela Jean Kettwig (nee Cerato) – born March 22, 1953 in Joliet, passed away at Joliet Area Community Hospice Home, Thursday, 24, 2018. Age 65 years.
Survived by her loving and devoted husband of 44 years, Larry Kettwig, two wonderful, devoted children Michael (Theresa) Kettwig, Jamie (Adam) Price; the light of her life grandchildren Dominic and Gianna Kettwig. Her mother-in-law Dorothy Kettwig, sister-in-law and brother-in-law Nancy and Dave Fox; devoted cousins Susie (Ron) Naples, Barbara (John) Petriekis, Jude (Pete) Danile, Mark Facchina and her best friend Patty (Ed) Olszta. Numerous nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.
Preceded in death by her parents Dominic and Mary Cerato, sister Nicolette (Kenneth dec.) Lingle, a sister in infancy, grandparents Charles and Edith Gollick, Vincenzo and Angelina Cerato.
Pam was a very generous person, and always thought of others before herself. She worked at Providence Catholic High School for 27 years as an Administrative Assistant in the Dean's Office where she had an indelible impact on many families, students, teachers, and staff. A private person with a great wit, Pam was the foundation of her family. Her family and close friends meant the world to her, and she loved spending time with all of them. Pam will truly be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday, May 30, 2018, at St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church 127 S. Briggs St. Memorial Visitation will be from 9:00 A.M. until time of Mass at 11:00 A.M. Cremation rites have been accorded per her wishes. Inurnment at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorials to Joliet Area Hospice would be appreciated
