Patrick J. Ryan – passed away peacefully suddenly, Monday, May 27, 2024, with his loving family at his side. Age 61.

Survived by his loving wife of 28 years, Lilly (nee Fox) Ryan, his son Michael (Sara) Divito, daughter Katie Ryan and his grandchildren Madison and Lucas Divito; his brother Frank (Marianne) Ryan and sister Michelle Ryan. Many cousins, nieces and nephews also survive.

Preceded in death by his parents Francis and Genevieve (nee Stanton) Ryan.

Pat proudly graduated from Joliet Catholic High School class of 1980, where he formed many lifelong friends. He also graduated from Illinois State University. Pat was a longtime member of Holy Family Catholic Church, acting as a Lector, an Usher and serving on many boards for the parish. Pat was loyal, hardworking and compassionate. A history buff and a true Irishman who loved a great banter. His greatest love was being a dad and a grandpa.

Visitation will be held at the Carlson-Holmquist-Sayles Funeral Home and Crematory, 2320 Black Road, Joliet on Sunday, June 2, 2024 from 2 to 6 pm. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, June 3, 2024 at 9:15 am from the funeral home to Holy Family Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am.
