Peggy L. Vogen – a lifelong resident in the Joliet area, Peggy passed away at The Pointe in Morris, IL, Tuesday February 16, 2021. Age 68. She is preceded in death by her parents Telfurd and Betty (Melbourne) Vogen and her infant siblings Robert and Nancy, also preceded her in death by her longtime companion Paul Anderson. Peggy is survived by her loving children Brian Sternisha and Erica (Chuck) Young and her beloved grandsons Jonathan Brandom and Porter Young; sister Pam (Scott) Gates, nieces Kayla (Scott) Horne, Courtney (Taylor dec.) Zeldin and great nephew Carson Horne. Numerous cousins also survive. Peggy was a member of the Teamsters Union, she loved the Chicago Cubs and the Green Bay Packers. She was a loving mom and grandma, and treasured spending time with her grandsons.
