Peter V. Nagra - Passed away peacefully, Saturday, September 22, 2012. Age 90 years. Survived by his loving wife of 67 years Bonita "Bonnie" J. Nargra (nee Moran), two sons Gary L. Nagra of Elwood and David Nagra of Kankakee, IL. A granddaughter Tuesday (Brian) Powers and two great-grandsons Tyler and Conor Powers. His brother Eugene (Josephine) Ziller of Plainfield. Also numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents John and Clara Nagra, his step-father Faustino Ziller and his brother John "Nebo" (Shirley-2012) Nagra. Peter was born November 21, 1921 in Johnson City, IL. He retired from the Labor Local #75 in 1986 after 46 years. Graduate of Joliet Township High School Class of 1939. Member of the Laborers Retiree Club. He is a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Rockdale. Peter enjoyed building projects around the house and was a master woodworker. Funeral services will be held from the Carlson-Holmquist-Sayles Funeral Home, 2320 Black Rd., Thursday, September 27 at 9:30 A.M. to St. Joseph Catholic Church in Rockdale at 10:00 for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment Woodlawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 4:00 – 8:00 P.M.
