Passed away at Harbor Chase of Plainfield, Monday, January 2, 2023. Age 92 years.
Survived by her daughter Kathleen (Steven) Weber of Channahon. Two grandchildren Joshua (Erik VonHaden) Weber of Aurora and Stephanie (Joshua) Berger of Plainfield. Four grandchildren Chris Raske, Rick Berger, Evan Berger and Aubrey Berger.
Preceded in death by her husband Fred W. Zucker (2005). Grandson Jeffrey Weber (2007) and her parents Richard and Anne Barman.
Phyllis was born July 1, 1930 in Joliet. Graduate of Joliet Township High School Class of 1948. She was a legal secretary for Thomas, Wallace, Feehan, Baron and Kaplan Law Firm for many years. Retired from the Law Office of Williama Kaplan. Phyllis enjoyed living on the Kankakee River for many years and spending winters with her husband in Florida. Phylllis passion in life was spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In her spare time she enjoyed solving crossword puzzles, watching Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy game shows. Member of St. Peter Lutheran Church.
Funeral services will be held at the Carlson-Holmquist-Sayles Funeral Home & Crematory, 2320 Black Rd., Monday, January 9th at 11:00 A.M. Rev. David Totsky officiating. Interment Woodlawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be held Monday from 9:00 A.M. until time of services.
