Formerly of Joliet, passed away at OFS St. James Hospital in Pontiac, Tuesday, February 1, 2022. Age 64 years. Survived by his three children Jessica Gronau, Daniel Gronau and Melissa Gronau. Thirteen grandchildren, his girlfriend Beverly Hodges. Three brothers Arnold Gronau, Martin Gronau and Stephan (Alison) Gronau. His sister Ingrid Greminger. Also several nieces and nephews. Lee was born February 16, 1957 in Joliet, Illinois to Lothar and Linda Gronau. Graduate of Lockport Township High School Class of 1975. Lee enjoyed fishing, working on cars, his cats, building computers and was an all around handyman. A celebration of Lee's life will be held Thursday, February 17th at the Carlson-Holmquist-Sayles Funeral Home & Crematory, 2320 Black Rd., from 4:00 – 5:30 P.M.
