On January 27, 2021, Rae Jean Juricic died peacefully in her sleep. She was 76 years old and a lifelong Joliet resident. She is preceded in death by one son, Wayne R. Juricic and one granddaughter, Brittany D. Juricic, both of Joliet, IL. Rae Jean is survived by four children- John P. Juricic, Paul P. Juricic, and Tammy L. Arnold, all of Joliet, IL, and Allison Keers-Sanchez of Goodlettsville, TN; 13 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren; two brothers, one sister; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive.
Rae Jean was a follower of Christ, a loving mother, and a devoted grandmother. She was a single mother who was proud to have raised five independent and hardworking children. She was a model of strength and the glue that held her family together. She loved nothing more than seeing and talking with all her family members. Her daily and weekly phone calls will be missed. She was an avid collector of clocks and loved animals, especially birds, just like her father. She endured many challenges in life but was kind and generous to everyone she met. She will be remembered for her dimpled smile.
As it was Rae Jean's request, Cremation Rites will be accorded and she will be interred next to her son, Wayne, at Elmhurst Cemetery, Joliet, IL.
