Passed away peacefully with his family, Saturday, April 24, 2021. Age 83 years. Survived by his loving wife Judith A. Speckman (nee Mammosser), three sons William (Karen) Speckman, Daniel (Kelly) Speckman and Ron (Kathy) Speckman. Eight grandchildren Katie, Michelle, Janet, Brittany, Bradley, Brooke, Steven and Jennifer. Three great-grandchildren Shamus, Jackson and Evelyn. Preceded in death by his parents William and Margaret (nee Martin) Speckman and his brother Fr. Harry Speckman (2021). Raymond was born May 28, 1937 in Joliet. Owner and operator of William J. Speckman & Son Plumbing and Heating. Member of Knights of Columbus Council 4400 and Loyal Order of Moose Lodge #300. Member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. Ray was well loved by all that knew him and will be remembered for his unselfish acts of kindness, wit and unyielding sense of humor. A private family Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Mary Nativity Catholic Church. Interment St. John Catholic Cemetery.
