Age 79, passed away at home Friday, February 27, 2015 at her home with her loving family by her side. Reva was born February 2, 1936 in Williamson County to Harrison and Elsie (nee Barwick) Davis. She married William Berard on May 26, 1956 in Plainfield, IL. They shared 59 years of marriage together. He survives in Ottawa, Illinois. Reva was a homemaker for many years, raising three children with William and having a large influence on their eleven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. In them she cultivated a love of reading, cooking, quilting and gardening. She will be long remembered for her quiet presence and her comfort-food recipes. Left to cherish her memory her husband, William Berard; children Steven and Angela Berard, Billy Berard, Avia and Randy Spencer; grandchildren, Paul Berard, Adam Landman, Matt Berard, Arin Landman, James Berard, Kyle Landman, Justin Berard, Jordan Berard, Nicole Berard, Elizabeth Berard and Sara Berard; great-grandchildren, Lucas Berard and Nolan Berard; sisters, Lula Feltz of Creal Springs, IL, Alma Kelly of Marion, KY, Pearl and William Kirman of Crest Hill; brother Kenneth and Linda Davis of Marion; sister-in-law Ileta (Edward) Davis of Creal Springs,Betty (John) Davis of Paulton, IL, Shirley and Donald Hoffman of Crest Hill; brothers-in-law Raymond and Norma Berard of Crest Hill and Edward and Shirley Berard of Apache Junction, AZ, and many loving nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter-in-law Renee Berard (Billy); sisters, Dortha Bailey and Wilma Davis; brothers James, Edward, John, William and Irene Davis; sister-in-law, Jane (James) Davis; brothers-in-law Loren Kelly, Norman Bailey, Donald Feltz, Ronald and Joann Berard. Visitation will be from the Carlson-Holmquist-Sayles Funeral Home 2320 Black Road on Wednesday, March 4, 2015 from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm. Services will be at 12:30 pm. Interment Woodlawn Memorial Park II.
