Richard P. Flynn Our beloved Husband, Father and Grandfather, passed away on Monday, March 8, 2021. Richard attended New Tier High School and graduated from SIU. He was employed for several years for US Steel and then the US Post Office until retiring in 2007. Preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Lilly Flynn. Survived by his wife, Jane Flynn (nee Sedacki); his son, Brian (Kristin) and daughter, Sheryl (Anthony) Nowosielski; his grandchildren, Grace, Brennan, AJ and Ethan. Richard enjoyed spending time with his Family, Fishing, Sports, Family Games and McDonalds/BK coffee time. Visitation will be held at the Carlson-Holmquist-Sayles Funeral Home, 2320 Black Road, Joliet on Saturday, March 27, 2021 from 10 AM until time of Services at 12 Noon. In accordance with current CDC Covid 19 guidelines, everyone attending the visitation and service will be required to properly wear face masks and observe social distancing.
