Richard T. Ginnetti

Passed away peacefully with his loving wife by his side, Friday, December 29, 2023. Age 84.

Rich survived by his devoted wife of 64 years, Mary Lynn (Ulrich) Ginnetti, his children Dr. Richard A. (Andrea) Ginnetti, Nick T. (Rhonda) Ginnetti and Linda (Matt) Miller. His grandchildren Michelle (Andrew) Lenahan F.S.A, Dr. Michael (Dr. Mary) Ginnetti, Matthew ( Rachel) Ginnetti, Kate Ginnetti N.P., Karli (Luke Lathrop) Ginnetti, Malloree Miller, Macee (Hannah) Miller, step-grandchildren A.J, Griffin, Cole and Brett Zajac and great-granddaughters Addison and Olivia Lenahan and Eloise "Ellie" Ginnetti.

He is preceded in death by his parents Buno and Clara Ginnetti, his sister Barbara J. Ginnetti, sister-in-law Arlene A. Ulrich and favorite cousin Robert Altiery.

Rich graduated Joliet Township High School. He was a Teamster for 33 years, working as a Driver Salesman for Budweiser Products, after retiring from Budweiser he went on to work for Ty-Walk Industries until its closing, then Elburn Co-Op delivering fuel to farmers. Rich was a hardworking man that took great pride in his family. He enjoyed hunting, and loved sports he played football and handball, and really enjoyed watching his children and grandchildren at their events.

A Memorial Mass will be held Monday January 15th, at St. Jude Catholic Church, 2212 McDonough, Joliet, Il. Visitation will be at church from 9:00 to 10:00 am until time of the Mass at 10:15 AM. In lieu of flowers memorials to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Lightways Hospice will be appreciated. Private inurnment will be at St. John the Baptist Cemetery.
