Richard R. Hoffman – passed away peacefully with his loving family by his side. Age 85. Richard is survived by his sons Robert (Debra) Hoffman, of Sandwich, IL., Richard L. Hoffman of Hollister, MO., daughter Valerie Hoffman of New Port Richey, FL., grandchildren Bobby Hoffman, Taylor Hoffman, Jennifer (Emanuel) Hoffman, Christina (Alex) Lanham, Robert Tacy, Karla Holmberg, and Tony Hoffman. Three great grandchildren, Robert Pinet, Steven Hoffman and April Lanham, and his sister Gayle Chaloka of Joliet, IL. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive. Preceded in death by his wife Doris Hoffman, son Randy Hoffman, daughter Carla Hoffman and his parents Clarence and Frances Hoffman. Born in Joliet, and a resident of Shorewood. Richard retired from Kerr Glass. He truly enjoyed spending time with his family and will be missed by all who loved him. A Memorial Gathering will be held at Woodlawn Memorial Park Chapel 23060 W. Jefferson St. Joliet, IL. on Thursday February 21, 2019 from 1-2 PM. Inurnment to follow.
