Passed away peacefully after long illness, Wednesday, October 23, 2013 at Presence St. Joseph Medical Center. Age 66 years. Survived by his three children Angela (Ron Richards) Minnick, Heather Minnick and Ryan (Kristi) Minnick; his grandson Ryan Richards. A brother Carl Minnick and a sister Deb (Fred) Meyer. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Preceded in death by his wife Linda (nee Krautter) Minnick, his parents Carl Minnick and Lois (nee Cleaver) Stipp, a brother Arlie Stipp and a sister Patricia (nee Minnick) Roos. Retired from the Local 75 Laborers and longtime employee with Dale Coyne Racing. A die hard Cub Fan, avid coin collector and dog lover. Memorial services will be held at the Carlson-Holmquist-Sayles Funeral Home, 2320 Black Road, Saturday, October 26, 2013 at 12:00-Noon. In lieu of flowers memorials to the American Heart Association will be appreciated. Visitation will be held Saturday from 9:00 AM until the time of services.
