Passed away suddenly, Thursday, September 15, 2022. Age 76 years.

Survived by his wife Rosemary Weir (nee Ceci) Three children Christine (Scott) McMillin, Edward (Heather) Anderson and Colleen (Bruce) Thornton. Beloved Papa to six grandchildren. His brother Curt (Pam) Vilt, sister Barbara (Jeffery) Waugh, two brothers-in-law and two sisters-in-law. Also numerous nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by his parents Dean and Reta (nee Kirby) Weir.

Bob was born March 10, 1946 in Joliet. He graduated from Joliet Township High School Class of 1964. Bob was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War. He retired from K-Mart with over 35+ years as manager at several local stores. In his retirement Bob enjoyed bird watching, especially the humming birds in his yard and photography. He also volunteered at Morris Hospital in the transportation department.

Funeral services will be held at the Carlson-Holmquist-Sayles Funeral Home & Crematory, 2320 Black Road, Thursday, September 22nd at 12:00 P.M. Visitation will be held from 10:00 A.M. until services. Private family interment at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery. Memorials to Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery Honor Guard will be appreciated.
