Bob graduated Joliet Catholic and began his career as an auto mechanic, most currently employed at Chignoli Auto. Bob loved spending time with his family and working on his hot rod and dune buggy; along with his other cars in his garage. His passion of working on cars was passed down to his son, Rob, who followed in his footsteps. He spent his weekends bonding with his grandsons, Barrett and Connor, showing them how to take things apart and hoping to put them together correctly. He was an avid NASCAR fan and loved his loyal dog, Myko. He was also very proud of his youngest son, Ben, who recently joined the U.S. Navy and is stationed in Virginia Beach, VA. Bob was the funniest person anyone had the opportunity to meet. His goal in life was to make you laugh. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Celebration of life will be held at the Carlson-Holmquist-Sayles Funeral Home & Crematory, 2320 Black Rd., Monday, May 9th at 2pm-4pm. For information (815) 744-0022 of www.CHSFUNERAL.com
