Passed away at his residence, Wednesday, December 15, 2021. Age 74 years. Survived by his wife MaryAnn Giordano (nee Petersen). Three sister-in-law Kathi, Judy and MaryAnn Petersen. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents Michael and Margaret (nee DeVito) Giordano, his sister Judy Finefield, his brothers-in-law Phil, Ray and Peter Petersen, a nephew Philip Petersen, Jr. and his father and mother-in-law Art and Mary Petersen. Bob was born March 12, 1947 in Chicago. Graduate of Lockport West High School Class of 1966 where he loved playing football. Veteran of the U.S. Army serving in Vietnam from 1967 – 1969. Bob loved celebrating the 4th of July with his family and friends by providing a fireworks display. He also loved the Chicago Bears and belonging to the group "The Olympics" in his teenage years. Bob retired from BWAY Can Manufacturing Co. in Chicago where he was a machinist for many years. Memorial services will be held at a future date.
