Robert T. Holomshek "Chuck" Age 47 years, passed away suddenly on Friday, August 7, 2015 at home. Born in Chicago on July 25, 1968, he has resided in Joliet/Plainfield for several years. He proudly served in the US Marine Corps as a crew chief. He was a gifted artist, prolific in many mediums. Bob found self expression and healing through his art. Preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Eleanor (nee Kotlinski) Holomshek. Survived by his three siblings, Pam (Paul) Kruse, Fran Holomshek and Frank Holomshek. His special dog and friend, Penny and by nieces and nephews. Visitation at the Carlson-Holmquist-Sayles Funeral Home 2320 Black Road, Joliet on Thursday, August 13, 2015 from 4 to 8 pm. Interment and full military honors at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery on Friday, August 14, 2015 at 12 Noon. In lieu of flowers, donations in bob's name to the Disabled American Veterans (www.dav.org) would be greatly appreciated.
