) Robert "Bob" M. Nichols –of Joliet, passed away at his residence, Monday, June13, 2016. Age 84 years. Survived by his loving wife of 55 years Anita Nichols (nee Querio); two sons Dennis (Lynn) Nichols and David (Linda) Nichols. Three grandchildren Amanda Nichols, Austin Nichols and Darcee Nichols. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Preceded in death by his parents Herman and Ruby Nichols and one sister Evalena Reese. Bob was born in Hartville, MO., November 1, 1931. Bob relocated to Joliet in his 20's when he met and married the love of his life Anita. He retired from Joliet Township High School in 1996. Bob enjoyed his McDonald morning gatherings with the guys. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends. Funeral services will be held at the Carlson-Holmquist-Sayles Funeral Home, 2320 Black Rd., Friday, June 17 at 10:00 A.M.
