Robert C. Short - Passed away peacefully with his loving family by his side, Friday, September 30, 2022. Age 84.

Survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Suzanne Short, his sons Brian Short, Daniel (Ayako) Short, daughters Sheryl Short, Anne (Ciprian) Magdas and Pamela Mistro; his brothers Tom (Pat) Short, Terry (Jackie) Short, Jim (Lori) Short, sisters Marlene (Tom) Kelly, Peggy (Dave) Erickson and his grandsons Jaxon C. Magdas and John J. Mistro.

Preceded in death his parents Fred and Margaret Short and his Aunt Florence Terry.

Bob proudly served in the U.S Army Company D 2nd Airborne Battalion Gp. 504th Infintry. He was a dedicated employee for nearly 50 years with Navistar/International Harvester Company. Bob loved the Chicago White Sox and the Chicago Bears. He enjoyed fishing, golf and taking pictures. He found great joy in being a grandfather, and would talk to anyone that was willing to listen about them.

Funeral services will be held at the Carlson-Holmquist-Sayles Funeral Home, 2320 Black Rd., Wednesday, Octobert 5th at 10:00 A.M. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 3 to 7. Interment Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery.
