Ronald "Ron" R. Chamberlin – Of Joliet, IL passed away at Silver Cross Hospital in New Lenox, IL Thursday, August 18, 2022. Age 71 years. He was born in Joliet, IL on August 28, 1950 to the late Reed "Pete" and Pearl Chamberlin. He was a proud Navy veteran serving on the USS Laffey DD-724. Ron retired from the Elgin, Joliet and Eastern (EJ&E) Railway. Survived by his loving wife Linda (nee Dante) Chamberlin, his brothers Ken (Paula) Chamberlin and Ralph (Sandy) Worden and his sister Janet (Charlie) Crittenden. Preceded in death by his parents Reed and Pearl Chamberlin. Memorial services will be held at the Carlson-Holmquist-Sayles Funeral Home & Crematory, 2320 Black Rd., Monday, August 29, 2022 at 12:00 P.M. Visitation will be held Monday from 10:00 A.M. until the time of services at 12:00 P.M. Interment Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery.
