Of Shorewood, passed away at his residence, Saturday, January 29, 2022. Age 81 years. Survived by his loving wife of 49 years Nancy Sarver (nee Davidson), two sons Ronald W. (Silvia) Sarver, Jr. and Robert Sarver. Three grandchildren Robin, Felix and Bianca Sarver. His sister Connie Marizza and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death a son Jason Sarver (1988), a sister Sandra Nichols and his parents. Ron was born January 21, 1941 in Bloomington, Illinois to Ronald and Christine Sarver. Veteran of the United States Air Force. Member of Messiah Lutheran Church. Throughout Ron's life he was active in many different endeavors including being a former actor with Lewis University Theatre Group, a published writer, former Golden Glove Champion Boxer, an avid Chicago Bears fan, aircraft builder and pilot, politician, carpenter, general contractor, land developer and creator of the Joliet BLT pizza. Memorial services will be held at Messiah Lutheran Church, 40 Houbolt Rd., Saturday, April 2, 2022 at 10:00 A.M.
