(nee Langone) - Passed away peacefully at home with her family by her side, Friday, January 30, 2015. Age 76 years. Survived by her two children Steven (Audre) Stersic and Susan (Shane) O'Neill. Four granddaughters Rachel, Olivia, Ella and Hannah. A brother Joseph (Lana) Langone, sister Jeanine Galligani and a sister-in-law Barbara Langone. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive. Preceded in death by her loving husband of 42 years Richard Stersic, her parents Joseph and Mary (nee Pesavento) Langone and a brother James 'Rocky' Langone. Rose was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother. Memorial services will be held at the Carlson-Holmquist-Sayles Funeral Home, 2320 Black Rd., Thursday, February 5, 2015 at 7:00 PM. Memorials to the Joliet Area Community Hospice will be appreciated. Private family inurnment Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery. Visitation will be held Thursday from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m.
