Rosemarie was born November 23, 1935 in Wheaton, IL. and raised in Aurora, IL. She attended Holy Angels, Abraham Lincoln and East Aurora High Schools. In 1958 Rosemarie relocated to Joliet. At age 9 Sister Mary Clare Therese introduced her to piano and singing. Later she studied under Walton Perkins and Tom Dedin Studios. Her father was a child prodigy of guitar and violin, drafted into WW II before his debut in joining the old Barn Dance Radio Show. Her adopted "Dad," Walter H. Treest encouraged her in every way and loved her dearly.
Rosemarie will be remembered as an entertainer in the Joliet, Chicagoland area and at resorts from Wisconsin to Florida. However, her heart was playing for Ed "Beans" and Jessie Ritoff's at Ritoff's Restaurant in Channahon which she considered "home" to her. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, DAV and Musicians Union Local 37 for many years. God was first in her life, children and family.
Rosemarie's family would like to thank St. Joseph Medical Center, Doctors, Nurses, ICU Unit, Cardiac Unit and Hospice personnel for all the compassionate care that was given.
We will miss you Mom. How beautiful you must be in Heaven. We have comfort knowing you are with The Lord and all who went before you are welcoming you to heaven with open arms. We will rejoice always, Pray Continually and give thanks in all circumstances. You will forever be in our heart's mama. Love you more.
