Passed away at Presence St. Joseph Medical Center, Friday, July 4, 2014. Age 75 years. Survived by her husband of 56 years LeRoy M. Sayles, daughter Vickie Hare and grandson Kevin Hare. Her sister-in-law Linda Dempsey. Preceded in death by a son Thomas M. Sayles (2004), son-in-law Jim Hare (2010), parents Thomas Dempsey and Loretta Watson. A brother Raymond Dempsey and a sister Dorothy Dempsey. Rosemary was born April 1, 1939 in Chicago and raised on her family farm in Mokena. She graduated from Carl Sandburg High School Class of 1957. Retired from Silver Cross Hospital and Joliet Area Community Hospice. Member of St. Patrick Catholic Church and Ladies of the Elks Ladies Auxillary. Rosemary enjoyed reading and the local casino's. Funeral services will be held from the Carlson-Holmquist-Sayles Funeral Home, 2320 Black Road, Wednesday, July 9 at 9:30 A.M. to St. Patrick Catholic Church at 10:00 A.M. for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment St. Patrick Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials to Joliet Area Community Hospice will be appreciated. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 2:00 - 4:00 & 6:00 – 8:00 PM.
