Formerly of Joliet, passed away suddenly in Clinton, Iowa, December 14, 2021, at the age of 37 years. Survived by her parents Richard and Ruth Evans Sr. Her Siblings Richard Evans Jr, Rachel (Michael Sorg) Marquardt, Rebecca (Robert), Robert (Brooke) Evans, and Ryan (Samantha- fiancé) Evans. Also, survived by numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. Preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents, a brother-in-law and several aunts and uncles. Ruthy was born January 23, 1984, in Joliet. Graduate of Joliet Township High School Central Campus Class of 2002 and Professional's Choice Hair Design Academy. Initially working at Jewel-Osco in New Lenox and Home Depot in Shorewood, Ruthy began her professional career with Baron's Design Salon, and was an area manager for several Great Clips Salons in Iowa. Her last position was an Assistant Manager with HyVee Grocery Store in Silvis Ilinois. Ruthy always thought of others well-being before hers. She loved her fur babies unconditionally. They were her world and at times traveled with her. Ruthy had a special way to connect with special needs children. She could get them through a chore or project that was needed to get done with ease. She touched many people with her love that will always remain in our memories. Ruthy was a very goal orientated person who when she had her mind set on something she was going to achieve it. Ruthy loved fishing with her dad at Ceco Recreation Club. She was a person that would make the best of things. She always looked at the glass half full. Ruthy's laugh and attitude would brighten the darkest of times. She will be missed by her family and friends, but she will always be forever in our hearts. A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 416 N Chicago St. Joliet IL Sunday, January 30th at 1:00pm. Following by a celebration of life and luncheon at 176 West Banquet Hall 1100 NE Frontage Rd, Joliet IL at 3:00pm. To attend please confirm a reservation by January 21st by calling 815/405-2465.
