Ruth M. Michael (nee Symmonds) - passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side, at Regency Care of Morris, Wednesday, December 11, 2019. Age 83. Survived by her devoted children Richard (Deborah) Scheible, Susan (Mike) Wellman and Michelle (Jerry) Semplinski, her cherished grandchildren Nicholas (Dawn) Scheible, Christopher (Natalie) Scheible, Stephanie Scheible, Rachel (Brian) Augustyniak, great-grandchildren Amber, Nate, Franklin, Clarabelle, Priscilla and Alfred Scheible, Benjamin and Cameron Augustyniak; two sisters and one brother also survive. Preceded in death by her husband's Richard Dean Scheible, Frank Michael, her daughter Dawn Michael and one brother. Ruth graduated from College of St. Francis and was an OB nurse for over 20 years at Silver Cross Hospital. She was a loving and devoted mother, and grandmother, her family was always first in her life. She was a hard worker, and a woman who never knew a stranger. Ruth will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Visitation will be held at Carlson Holmquist Sayles Funeral Home, 2320 Black Road Joliet, IL., Sunday, December 15th from 1 to 5.
