Sarah L. Lawson (nee Melton) - Passed away peacefully, Wednesday, June 19, 2013 at Sunny Hill Nursing Home. Age 87. Survived by a son William (Robin) Lawson; three grandsons Jeremiah (Krista), Joshua and Jacob Lawson. Several great-grandchildren and a special niece Judi Bautch. Preceded in death by her husband Ted Lawson, two children in infancy Jimmy and Karen Lawson, her parents and two brothers. Private services were held on Friday, June 21, 2013 at Woodlawn Memorial Park. The family is requesting prayers in Sarah's name or memorials to the Joliet Area Community Hospice.
