Passed away in her home on February 6, 2026. Sharon was born and raised in Joliet, where she remained to raise her family. She worked for the D'Amico family for 40 years and eventually retired from Harrah's Casino.

Sharon's life was full of adventure. She was thrilled to travel to her 50th state in 2024. She enjoyed scenic drives in nature, from mountains to lakes and rivers. Sharon was a fun, kind and selfless person who loved being around family, especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed hosting birthday parties, baking cookies, hiking, off-roading and boating.

Sharon is survived by her children Lori (Mark) McGrath, Lynne Rae (Perry) Fielder, Jennifer (Billy) Baki, Cathryn (Edwin) Baki, Janika (Jason) Alling, and Janina (Eric) Baki. 20 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Her brothers Stewart Engimann and Patrick Biggs and her sisters Lillian Biggs Schuck and Colleete Richardson.

Preceded in death by her husband John Baki, her son Elton Craig Johnson, parents Clara Dodge and Ralph Engimann and her sister Sylvia Whitney.

Per Sharon's wishes cremation rites have been accorded. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Carlson-Holmquist-Sayles Funeral Home and Crematory. For information, please call 814-744-0022.
