She was a devoted elementary and special education teacher in Joliet and Wilmington for twenty years. Sheila was a longtime member of the former Willow Avenue Presbyterian Church and a faithful member of First Presbyterian Church in Joliet. She served in many roles, most cherishing her time leading the Children's Worship on Sunday mornings and playing in the bell choir. She was a member of P.E.O. Chapter BA. Sheila played the violin in the Joliet grade school and high school orchestras. She had a treasured group of friends from her time at Joliet Junior College called the Tollkmms and loved their time together.
