Shirley F. Dieter (nee Lockard) - Passed away peacefully at home, with her loving family by her side, Wednesday, July 14, 2021. Age 82 . Survived by her two sons James T. (Deborah) and Clayton Dieter. Four grandchildren James and Mark Dieter, Clayton and Naomi Dieter; one great-grandchild Jaxon O'Connell, her sister-in-law Carole and life-long friend Sharon Dosher. Preceded in death by her parents Robert and Buelah Lockard, her husband James Dieter, brother Danny Lockard and her beloved dog CoCo. Shirley was an exceptional cook and loved cooking and spending time with her family. She enjoyed being in her garden especially her flowers, in her spare time she loved watching the Hallmark Channel, and any shows with Tom Selleck in it. Funeral services will be held at the Carlson-Holmquist-Sayles Funeral Home, 2320 Black Rd., Monday, July 19, 2021, at 12:00 P.M.. Visitation will be Monday from 10:00 A.M. until time of services at 12:00 P.M. Interment Elmhurst Cemetery.
