Steve Hartz - passed away peacefully at Loyola Medical Center, Sunday, June 26, 2022. Age 67. Survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Diane (Bronkala) Hartz, his daughters Amanda (David) Dite, Christine Hartz and his brother Mike (Sharon) Hartz. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive. Preceded in death by his parents George and Doris Hartz Steve was an avid Cubs fan. He enjoyed golf, reading, photography, playing cards, bowling and his many dogs. He loved spending time with his family, especially his "kiddos". He was a recipient of a bi-lateral lung transplant and was a tremendous fighter through it all. His presence will be greatly missed. Memorial Visitation held at the Carlson-Holmquist-Sayles Funeral Home & Crematory, 2320 Black Rd., Thursday, June 30, 2022 from 3:00 P.M until time of services at 6:00 P.M.
