Steven W. Keck "Steve" Age 77 years, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loved ones on Friday, July 8, 2022. Steve was born in Joliet on February 6, 1945, the son of the late Norman A. and Lilllian (nee Swan) Keck. He was the co-owner of Keck Electric, Joliet Equipment and the Joliet Beach Club. He was also the owner of Viking Sports. Steve was an avid train collector. He enjoyed vacationing with his wife Patty in Florida and Door County. Member of the Irving AC, Ingalls Park AC and the Belmont AC. Preceded in death by his wife of 33 years, Patricia K. "Patty" Keck (nee Bednarczyk (2018); his parents, Norman and Lillian Keck; his step-mother, Dorothy Keck; two brothers, Allen and Terry Keck and two step-brothers, California Steve Cameron and Doug Cameron. Survived by his brother, Thomas (late Beverly) Keck; The Lawson Girls and dear friend, Jesse Keehma and by numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Visitation for Steve W. Keck will be held at the Carlson-Holmquist-Sayles Funeral Home on Tuesday, July 12, 2022 from 10 A.M. until time of services at 12:00 Noon. Private interment at Holy Cross Cemetery, Crest Hill.
