Passed away at Salem Village Nursing Home, Thursday, May 25, 2017. Age 71 years. Survived by her son Richard (Angela) Schaefer, Jr. of Wilmington, IL. two daughters Sandi (Randy) Peeples of Channahon and Jennifer (Brian) Anderson of Wilmington, IL. Five grandchildren Joshua Schaefer, Rebecca and Delaney Peeples, Christian and Meadow Anderson. Her sister Sharon Lokken of Lancing, MI. and her brother Thomas Stanfield of Alaska. Also numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her husband Richard D. Schaefer (2006) and her mother Martha Stanfield. Suzanne was born November 5, 1945 in Lancing, MI. and was a graduate of J.T.H.S. Class of 1963. She formerly worked at Freedom Plastics, Inc. in Joliet. Visitation will be held at the Carlson-Holmquist-Sayles Funeral Home & Crematory, 2320 Black Rd., Saturday, May 27th from 10:00 A.M. until 12:00 P.M. Inurnment will take place at Woodlawn Memorial Park at a later date.
