Obituary

Terry L. Doyle – of New Lenox, passed away peacefully with his loving family by his side, June 14, 2018. Age 70. Survived by his devoted wife of 51 years (11days shy of 52) Cheryl (Steinquist) Doyle, his loving daughter Michelle (Michael) Doyle-Tomaska, his grandchildren Ashley (Chris) Field, Brandon Doyle, Alexandra Zimmerman and great grandson Maddox Field; his sister Beverly Kolodziej and brother-in-law Ron Steinquist. Also surviving are his boys Sterling and Royal. Preceded in death by his parents Frank Sr. and Mildred Doyle, brothers Frank Jr. (Marsha) Doyle, Donald (Barbara) Doyle, brother-in-law Leo Kolodziej and his sister-in-law Beverly (Ron) Steinquist. Terry retired from Caterpillar after 31 years, holding a Union Official position with the Machinist Union Local 851. He was also a Lieutenant with the Will County Sheriff's Auxilary. He was a life member of the NRA and ISRA. A member of Mt. Joliet Lodge #42 Af. Am. Terry loved spending time with his family and for Terry family always came first. He had a quick wit and was always ready to throw a party. He will be deeply missed by all that knew him, but his family takes comfort in knowing he will be greeted by all his beloved dogs. Funeral services will be held at the Carlson-Holmquist-Sayles Funeral Home, 2320 Black Road, Wednesday, June 20 at 11:00 A.M. Interment Elmhurst Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials to JourneyCare Foundation, 2050 Claire Court, Glenview, IL. 60025 or online at www.journeycare.org will be appreciated. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 3 to 7
