Born into eternity with his family and friends by his side on Friday, August 22, 2014 at Silver Cross Hospital. Age 50. Survived by his loving wife of 21 years Joyce (nee Edmaiston) Boston; his six sons Johnathan (Carol) Rice, Thomas W. Boston, Ryan (Kay) Boston, James (Mel) Boston, Jeffrey Boston and Chris Boston; three grandchildren Collin, Kristian and Kaylee and a grandson on the way Elias Thomas Boston. His father Wesley Boston and a brother Willie (Kristin) Boston. His canine companions Ringo and Jaycee. Several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. Preceded in death by his paternal and maternal grandparents. Employed with Rush Truck Center in Joliet. The greatest joy in his life were 'his boys', anything he could do with them from fishing to working on cars. Tom was a loving and devoted husband, 'pop', & 'papa' who will be dearly missed by them. Funeral services will be held at the Carlson-Holmquist-Sayles Funeral Home, 2320 Black Road, on Wednesday, August 27, 2014 at 11:00 AM with Kathi Petersen officiating. Interment Elmhurst cemetery. Memorials to the family will be appreciated. Visitation Tuesday from 2-6 PM and Wednesday from 10:00 AM until the times of services at 11:00 AM.
