Thomas G. Parkhurst

Passed away peacefully at Lightways Hospice Home, Sunday, August 18, 2024 at the age of 58 years.

Thomas is survived by his loving wife of 39 years Vronda Parkhurst. Their four children Bruce Parkhurst, Nicole (Darious) Parkhurst, Cori (Sidney) Bradley and Jasmine (Dae'juan) Parkhurst. He also leaves behind fifteen cherished grandchildren, his brother Trent (Katrina) Parkhurst and his two sisters Terri Castleberry and Tracci (Juan) Nino.

Thomas was preceded in death by his parents George and Joan Parkhurst, his sister Tammie Moon (2023) and a brother Timothy Parkhurst and twin brothers Merle and Earl Parkhurst.

Tom was born January 3, 1966 in Joliet. He was truly a "jack of all trades" having worked in construction, painting, hauling and yard work. In his free time, he found joy in the company of his beloved dogs, fishing, and being out in nature.

A Memorial Gathering will be held at the Carlson-Holmquist-Sayles Funeral Home & Crematory, 2320 Black Rd., Saturday, August 31st from 9:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M.
